We focus on business-funded R&D, historically the largest source of applied research funding and where we believe the need is largest - especially among small businesses.
Academic freedom matters
Industry sponsors set the scope of work, but researchers must be free to conduct their work and report findings independently, without interference or compromise.

Metal smelting furnaces aren't what most people think of when they hear "innovation," but my time as an R&D engineer showed me otherwise. Working with mining clients around the world, I developed new sensing technologies and saw firsthand the power of testing ideas quickly. However, I also experienced the challenges: overcoming internal gaps, navigating red tape, and bridging funding needs. Roundtable, we're building an AI-powered platform to remove these barriers. No matter the industry, we're here to bring the best technologies to market, faster.
